Well, my quilting friend and I spent 5 hours on Wednesday working on our quilt projects! Yay!
The next day I spent at my class's sewing lab working on one of my assigned projects -- cutting out a dress pattern and learning how to match checked fabric. I'm not sure how good a job I did. We'll see how well things go together on Saturday.

OH! You have the same machine as me! Don't you just love it?!
Yes! The Bernina 1090S is a real workhorse.
Unfortunately, it's on sick leave right now. As I described in a previous post, it fell off the table and I'm waiting until I can afford to repair it.
In the meantime, I'm sewing on my Bernina 1530 which is a very nice machine and has more bells and whistles than the 1090. But I still love the 1090 best.
